Another day, another new Hyrule Warriors video! Never Be Without Zelda.
Link And Zelda Get Some Skyward Sword DLC
Announced last week as a playable character, Fi gets the trailer treatement in Tecmo Koei's latest update to their main site. The spiritual embodiment of the Goddess Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is very, well, swordlike.
Fi flits and floats, inches above the battelground, swirling and twirling as if a sword herself. In fact, at times she even becomes the semi-legendary blade to dole out her unique brand of justice.
Destiny Beta Begins This Week For PlayStation Owners
Fi joins Princess Zelda, Impa, Midna, Agitha and Lana as the current roster of female characters. Link is the only male thus far, though that should change with the eventual release of Ganon and Ganondorf. What will be interesting to see is Ganondorf playing alongside the forces of Courage and Wisdom. One would surmise that he isn't too into young upstarts, which the game's main antagonist, Cia, will most likely be.
The anticipation for Hyrule Warriors is growing. Over the weekend, Tecmo Koei announced that Link and Zelda are getting some Day One DLC costumes from Skyward Sword. The site is updated on a near daily basis and we here at GameNGuide will be sure to keep you posted with all the latest news, screenshots and trailers.
Hyrule Warriors hits Japanese shelves on August 14. North American customers can expect it for the Wii U on September 26.
