While we were all hiding from Hurricane Arthur, Nintendo released another trailer for their highly anticipated Hyrule Warriors game. The new video highlights slightly unfamiliar face Agitha and her Umbrella of Doom.
Hyrule Warriors Day One DLC Announced
Agitha made her first, and only, appearance in the Wii's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. She was the self declared "princess of the insect kingdom" and she put Link and Midna on a quest for bugs and is responsible for getting Link the Big Wallet. She also thinks Wolf Link is a puppy because of course she does.
This is not her first appearance outside of Twilight Princess. She is a collectible trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.
A New Hyrule Warriors Challenger Approaches: Lana, The White Witch Of Hyrule
In the video, Agitha dispatches the goblin horde with a wink, a smile and a little giggle. She is endearing like your seven year old cousin is endearing: totally adorable and therefore, able to get away with absolutely anything. A magic user, Agitha wields her parasol with deadly insectoid grace and can summon a large ethereal butterfly to ram through waves and waves of enemies. She really, really likes her bugs.
Agitha joins Zelda, Midna, Impa and new character, the White Witch Lana as playable female characters. Currently Link is the only boy in the group though it stands to reason, given certain evidence, that Ganon and/or Ganondorf will be making an appearance closer to the Japanese release date on August 14. America will be getting that Hyrule Warriors action on September 26.
