No longer will players need to possess a fierce command of Nordic to enjoy developer Stoic's popular Kickstarter darling, The Banner Saga. The company is pleased to announce that the game has been localized in several languages, including Spanish, German, Russian, French and others for both PC and Mac versions.

Even better, the game will be releasing onto mobile platforms some time this summer! No word on if it will be platform exclusive for iOS or Android yet, but stick with us, we'll let you know.
"Releasing The Banner Saga in multiple languages is a promise we made to our backers when we launched our Kickstarter in 2012," said John Watson, Technical Director at Stoic. "We are happy to be able to keep this promise by finally releasing the game in multiple languages. In addition to PC and Mac the game will also be available in multiple languages on mobile devices when we launch the game later this summer and look forward to sharing this experience with a whole new audience!" I am an avid mobile gamer, so this is just all good news to me.
World of Tanks Blitz Launces On iOS Today!
The Banner Saga completed its Kickstarter within a day back in 2012 and the game was released this January to near universal praise. The game is a turn based tactical RPG along the lines of Final Fantasy Tactics and Shining Force, and drops you into a cold and frigid Viking inspired storyline. Fully rendered with gorgeous 2D graphics. Your actions in both combat and conversation will mould the shape of the story and ultimately, the fate of your entire civilization. A game truly worthy of the word SAGA.
You can purchase The Banner Saga through Steam, UPlay, GameFly, GameStop, GOG and Gamers Gate for PC and Mac. It's currently on sale on Steam, so the only reason for not getting it now is because you want to take it with you wherever you go later this summer.
