The Singapore company was on hand at the industry's top trade show beginning on Tuesday, giving fans the opportunity to try out its upcoming mobile game controller,
Don Shue, a product marketing specialist, was kind enough to speak to Gamenguide on June 11 about Razer's approach during the early stages of the Junglecat, which will be available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s.
"We use our expertise in creating console controllers and focused that expertise into creating if for the iOS device," he said.

Shue also elaborated on some of the intricacies of the iOS addition, addressing some of its highly notable qualities such as its thin size and movements.
"We've concentrated on keeping the device slim compared to other controllers that require you to dock and undock it. Because of its sliding mechanism, you can hide or reveal the game pattern anytime that you wish," he explained.
The product marketing specialist stated that Razer's made it a point to not let the Junglecat's design negatively affect an Apple smartphone's navigation.
"The direction we're going with our controller is that we want to not take away the functionality of a phone. The other controllers may hinder that functionality by not being portable. Ours is portable. You can actually put it in your pocket. It's something that you actually will take around," said Shue.
Speaking of portability, Shue further addressed the respective topic. One that will undoubtedly prove to be beneficial for someone with a typical mobile lifestyle.
"We want to give that to the consumers. To be able to really game on the go with the iPhone device," he said.
Shue also said that the feedback Razer has received for the Junglecat has been quite positive. However, he also came clean that a handful of gamers have been adamant about coveting an analog version of the mobile controller.
"A lot of people have been asking if we're making an analog version. We are working on that as well. It's still on the drawing board. But we're still exploring our options regarding that. We are looking to moving into that space possibly," he said.
Although Shue wasn't able disclose the actual date of Junglecat's release just yet, he was able to tell Gamenguide that it will be coming out in July.
"It's slated to hit stores in mid-July," he said.
