Sad news for fans of Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series. His latest title The Evil Within is being delayed... you're going to have to wait a few more months to be scared silly.
Terrifying New The Evil Within Gameplay Trailer Shows Off 'The Boxman'
Bethesda has announced that The Evil Within will be available in North America on October 21, in Australia on October 23, and throughout Europe on October 24, 2014. It will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. The game looks to be a clear successor to Mikami's classic games like Resident Evil 4, offers us a combination of action and horror that's guaranteed to thrust us into uncomfortable situations.
The official description- "While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead. Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what's behind this evil force."

Pre-order the game and you'll get the 'Fighting Chance Pack', which includes:
- Medical Kit – A vital health enhancement to enable Sebastian to fight on.
- Green Gel – Used to upgrade Sebastian’s attributes.
- Double Barrel Shotgun and Three Shells – A larger and more formidable shotgun than the regular shotgun, it’s useful for tight situations with multiple encroaching enemies.
- An Incendiary Agony Bolt – Capable of showering nearby enemies with damaging fire sparks.
- A Poison Agony Bolt – Will draw enemies towards it and poison them, allowing Sebastian time for a quick escape.
Sounds great right? I'm just wondering why you get a double barrle shotgun and only three shells for it. Unless those three shells are for other purposes (we've all seen Demolition Man, right?)
