Apple has announced the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place between June 2 and 6.
Google Passes Apple As World's Most Valuable Brand
The event will be held at San Francisco's Moscone West Center, where Apple will be expected to unveil operating system updates or new hardware. The Keynote speech will take place at 10 a.m. on the first day of the conference.
It's during the Keynote that Apple usually makes its major announcements and reveals, this year likely to include iOS 8. It's unclear what, if any, hardware will be announced, but CEO Tim Cook is likely to lead the proceedings. The full schedule can viewed on Apple's website.

There may be no certain hardware announcements coming, but a new iPhone is probably the safest bet. Competitors HTC and Samsung already launched their new high-end products this spring in the One M8 and the Galaxy S5, and Apple has yet to respond.
Rumors suggest that Apple could be planning two sizes for the new iPhone: one traditionally sized, and another with a larger screen meant to rival its Android competition. There are plenty of consumers comfortable with the smaller screen size and those who don't like anything larger, so it would be a smart move by Apple to aim at both if the rumors are true.
There's plenty else at WWDC besides the Keynote, so check out the full schedule to see what other events will be held over the five-day span.
