Membership has its perks, and if you have either the Xbox One or PC version of Titanfall, you know all about it. A number of updates have hit the game on all platforms already, but with the game's first piece of DLC on the way, publisher EA confirmed that the higher end platforms like the Xbox One and PC will be getting not only the updates before the Xbox 360, but the DLC as well.
Brief Tweets Fan Flames that Respawn is Working on Titanfall For the PS4
That's the basic summation of a brief writing EA just penned a short update over at Titanfall's official website.
"Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360. Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates."

Looking for something more specific? OK then - "Right now the Bluepoint team is bringing over changes included in the Xbox One’s Content Update 2 while also working on the Expedition DLC. We asked them to split the CU2 into two parts, which includes the update to the Gooser challenge that recently went live, with the rest of the changes becoming available soon."
Great, fixes and additional content are always a nice thing to have, right? Unless, that is, you have Titanfall on Xbox 360, because in addition to waiting for the updates, you'll also have to wait a bit longer for the upcoming DLC. EA closed the post with the following: "The first DLC for Titanfall, Expedition, is coming to the Xbox One and PC in May, and will appear on Xbox 360 in June."
Disappointing? Yeah, you could say that. An exact date hasn't been provided as of yet, but players can grab the Expedition map pack for $10 whenever it does release, while Season Pass holders get it at no additional cost.
Respawn's level designer Chris Dionne recently discussed the creation of the Swamplands map coming later this month in the Expedition DLC map pack. You can check out the video detailing some of the map's concepts below.
