We're probably within about six months of the next iPhone release, so it's only natural that the leaks will start flowing now.
LG G3 Phone and Specs Show Up In Leaked Image
Last we saw the alleged new iPhone it looked a lot different, with what appeared to be more or less the same layout as the current iPhone 5S. Now BGR has found some new photos via Italian blog Macitynet.it that show the phone compared to both an iPhone 5S and iPhone 4S. It doesn't appear to be an actual phone, but a mockup sent to case manufacturers. Nonetheless, it gives a size comparison if nothing else.
So what can we see from the new images? This phone is definitely bigger. It appears that Apple will be doing away with the hard-edged design aesthetic that has defined its products since the iPhone 4 released in 2010. To compensate for the larger screen size, it looks like Apple will be going the route of many larger smartphones and putting the sleep/wake button on the side of the phone rather than the top.
Two New iPhones To Release This Fall?
Now the question becomes: is this the real deal? It does line up with another leak published by BGR about a month ago, so it would seem that this will likely be at least one of the iPhones released this year. Now we just have to wait for the inevitable leaked video of it in action.
In the meantime, check out the photos and video above and below of the new phone and be sure to patronize Macitynet to check out the full gallery.
