Cozy bookshop simulation game "Book Bound" is perfect for players who enjoy a little bit of "Stardew Valley" style fun and it currently has a free demo on Steam.
The game lets players use a wide array of items to decorate their shops and make them unique and stand out amongst the rest. In "Book Bound," you can choose which books you want to sell to passing customers.

You can also help them find which pieces of literature they are looking for, and you have the option of stocking books from a variety of genres. The game offers the chance to customize your very own bookshop inspired by a variety of themes.
These include sci-fi, non-fiction, fantasy, romance, and thriller. Players can also choose to expand their businesses, order new books to stock their shelves, and assist customers in finding the perfect novel, according to Gaming Bible.
Based on the gameplay trailer that was included in the game's Steam page, it seems like "Book Bound" is as cozy as its description says it is. It also seems like the perfect game for players who are fans of having a relaxing time while enjoying a cup of hot cocoa.
On top of this, the game is not heavy on the hardware and its system requirements only ask for an Intel core i5, 1.5 GHz and above, 2GB of RAM, and only 500 MB of storage. While the game has a free demo on Steam, it currently does not yet have an official release date.

The studio behind the game is indie developer Bit66 that brought pixel-art style visuals to "Book Bound" that make fans remember "Stardew Valley," but in a good way. The free Steam demo right now features the majority of things that players can do in the full game, Otaku Study said.
It also serves as an early preview of what fans can expect to see when it comes to activities that the game will offer. However, the demo still comes with a few restrictions, such as no progress will be saved and there are only two genres available: Romance and Fantasy.
While there is no exact release date for "Book Bound," the cozy bookshop simulation game is expected to be released on Valve's gaming platform within the year. The Steam page also notes that players can unlock bonuses by selling at least one book in a given genre.
You will also be able to expand your book catalog at the end of each day to prepare for the next wave of customers that come into your bookshop. Additionally, you have the option to adventure to people in the city to attract them to come to your store, according to Steam.
