'The First Berserker: Khazan' Demo Now Available for Download

The public demo for Nexon and Neople's upcoming action RPG "The First Berserker: Khazan" is now available for download on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The demo comes roughly two months ahead of the game's official release date, which is Mar. 27, 2025, Players who participate in the public demo will be able to transfer their save progress to the full game. Additionally, if you complete the content of the demo, you will be shown a preview video for the main title.

The First Berserker: Khazan Demo Now Available

The developers are billing "The First Berserker: Khazan" as a hardcore action RPG that follows the protagonist, Khazan, on this journey to get vengeance. The character rose to become the Great General of Pell Los and became the hero of the empire.

However, he was later falsely accused of treason and exiled to the mountains. During Khazan's adventures, he will encounter the mysterious Blade Phantom, which grants him unique powers to help him defeat his foes, according to RPGamer.

In "The First Berserker: Khazan," players will have to help the protagonist survive constant attacks conducted by imperial forces, uncover and avoid plots to kill him, and survive harsh environments.

The game features an upgrade system that lets you strengthen Khazan's abilities and mix different weapon and armor skills to fit particular playstyles. To help fans know what to expect with "The First Berserker: Khazan," it would be under the soulslike subgenre.

A Hardcore Action RPG

The upcoming hardcore action RPG was developed using Unreal Engine 4, which makes some fans concerned for potential stutters on PC. The game is known to support DLSS 3.8 and should theoretically also work with DLSS 4 once it becomes available, DSO Gaming said.

Players can also pre-order the Deluxe Edition of "The First Berserker: Khazan," which includes three days of early access starting Mar. 24, 2025, exclusive in-game armor and weapon sets, a digital artbook, and the complete game soundtrack.

Pre-orders for the game are currently available on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store. The demo of the game will allow fans to experience the first two missions to give them a chance to get comfortable with the controls and mechanics.
