Players can gather and craft a variety of resources and materials in "Enshrouded" that will help them throughout their adventures in one way or another.
One of the resources that you can get in the game is Nitrate, which is an advanced material that is needed to make crucial items. What makes this resource hard to come by is that it is not common, and it's not simply found in the overworld.

How To Unlock Nitrate
The only way to get Nitrate in "Enshrouded is to craft it in the Alchemist's Laboratory, which is easier said than done. The latter needs to be unlocked and made before you can start making Nitrate, according to Sportskeeda.
The Alchemist's Laboratory is the last Production Place that players can unlock in the game, which means that you can only access it in the later parts of "Enshrouded." To unlock it, you will also have to complete a series of quests related to the Alchemist.

How To Craft Nitrate
After you have successfully created your very own Alchemist's Laboratory, you can finally start to craft Nitrate on your own. In order to make this resource, you will need five Sand, five Salt, one Wood Acid, and one Alchemical Base.
Sand is used in a lot of recipes in the game and is fairly common as it can be mined from the ground in the Kindlewastes biome with the use of a pickaxe. You can find Salt in different areas of Embervale, and it can be collected generally easily, Sportskeeda said.
On the other hand, Wood Acid needs to be crafted using a Charcoal Kiln and requires 15 Wood Logs and three Dirt. Lastly, the Alchemical Base is crafted using one Shroud Liquid, one Mycelium, one Water, and one Shroud Spores.
You can get Shroud Liquid and Mycelium from mushrooms in the Shrouded Areas, and Water can be scooped from wells. To get Shroud Spores, you will need to defeat Shrouded enemies that can drop two to five pieces of the item you need.
After you have all of the needed materials, simply chuck them all into the Alchemist's Laboratory and craft Nitrate, according to Game Rant.
