A new trailer for the upcoming game by Trixel Creative, "Restitched," shows how the title has similar vibes to the "Little Big Planet" franchise.
The small team behind the upcoming game recently revealed that they are big fans of the original "Little Big Planet" and played it years ago. However, the studio said that its new game is not about remaking it oforPC.
New Restitched Trailer
The developers explained on the game's website that some people may think they created Restitched to bring the same experience as Little Big Planet to PC. However, this could not be further from the truth.
They added that this genre of gaming is unexplored mainly in modern times, and they love the concept so much that they believe there is room for multiple titles to explore it. The FAQ on the website also said that games like "Little Big Planet" helped nurture many minds and became a way to foster imagination, according to Kotaku.

The developer said it plans to make a game that can do something similar on the PC but with its unique innovations. Trixel Creative noted that they will always admire and respect "Little Big Planet" and the game's talented developers.
The studio also said that the new game is not related to a fan remake of the Little Big Planet franchise, which is also called Restitched. Sony lawyers canceled the latter in 2020.
Taking Inspiration From Little Big Planet
The upcoming game is a 2.5D platformer and puzzling adventure title that stars the customizable plushie named Stuffy. He is a small bear who is going on an adventure through a massive world filled with various obstacles, Screen Rant said.
"Restitched" plans to heavily emphasize customization and level design. Through the Steam Workshop, players would be able to create and share levels and creative projects with the community.
The game is currently in the early Alpha stage of development, and the developer shared the latest trailer to show what fans can expect moving forward. The studio reminded players that the game is still very much rough around the edges and requires a lot more polish.
The trailer shows the game's platforming gameplay, level design, and character customization in their early Alpha forms. The game was described as a "passion-made project" that serves as a "love letter" to the "Little Big Planet" franchise and other games like it, according to Game Rant.
