There are a variety of items and cosmetics that players can get and wear in "Terraria" that all have their own unique look and design.

One of the pieces of equipment available in the game that provides some useful benefits is Wings, which allow for hovering, flying indefinitely, and accessing new angles. There are a variety of Wings players can find in the game.

Finding out which of these is useful can be a tough challenge, with so many to choose from and some being harder to get than others. This guide helps players figure out which Wings are the best in the game.

1. Vortex Booster

The first set of Wings on this list is the Vortex Booster, which players can craft using 14 Vortex Fragments and 10 Luminite Bars. The main benefit of these Wings is that they have the fastest hover speed of any other Wings in the game, according to The Gamer.

You can also use the Vortex Booster to hover horizontally up or down and have a massive boost to horizontal speed, which is at 300%. You also need to have defeated the Moon Lord in order to craft these Wings.

2. Fishron Wings

The Fishron Wings can be acquired as a drop from Duke Fishron, which is a hardmode boss in "Terraria." These are the second-fastest set of Wings in the game and have even faster movement when in water.

The only real difficulty of getting these Wings is that Duke Fishron is a tough boss to beat. This enemy's Sharknado attack can deal a lot of damage if you get caught in it. You should be careful if you want to get the Fishron Wings.

3. Harpy Wings

The Harpy Wings are one of the first sets of Wings that you can have after you get into "Terraria's" hardmode content. These sets of Wings are solid options to help you challenge some of the first mechanical bosses and strengthened enemies in the game, Hardcore Gamer said.

You can get Harpy Wings once you gather 20 Souls of Flight from the giant Wyverns that spawn in the sky above and a Giant Harpy Feather from the harpies at higher altitudes.

4. Fledgling Wings

Found just before getting into hardmode, the Fledgling Wings are very useful against Skeletron and for navigating Hell's lava-infested regions. They pair very well with a grappling hook and platform arena to navigate chasms and outmaneuver flying enemies.

You can get these Wings in chests on the floating islands and inside crates found from fishing at an elevation of at least 250 (small world, 450 (medium world), and 650 (large world) blocks in the sky.

5. Solar Wings

One of the best wings in "Terraria" is the Solar Wings, which can be crafted using 10 Luminite Bars and 14 Solar Fragments. The best thing about these is that they give amazing all-around stats, making them the generically best Wings in the game, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.
