The sale for the game is particularly noteworthy as it was one of the few popular fighting games that was not available for a discounted price during Black Friday this year. But Capcom has finally decided that it was time to give players a chance to get the collection for a cheaper price.

The sale for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics comes as part of Capcom's celebration for being nominated at The Game Awards 2024. The official sale brings down the game's price by 20%, reducing its cost from $50 to only $40, which makes each title in the package cost less than $6, according to Event Hubs.
Furthermore, the digital version of the fighting collection went on sale for the Nintendo Switch and will keep its discounted price until Jan. 6, 2025. This is not the same case for other platforms, as their sales will run out at an earlier date.
First-Ever Discounted Price
The sale for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics on Steam will only run up until Dec. 19, 2024. Unfortunately for PlayStation users, it seems like the discounted price for the game has already run its course.
The game's discounted price is also currently available at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and GameStop for anyone who is interested in using those platforms for their purchase. The game's physical editions were given out with an exclusive comic book at launch, Game Spot said.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics features seven iconic fighting games from Capcom's storied past. These are The Punisher, X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Superheroes, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes.
The game is expected to come out on Xbox consoles sometime in 2025 to allow even more players to get in on the fighting action. Capcom has said that it plans to bring the game to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S next year. Fans expect that more information will be released early next year, according to Comic Book.
