There are new rumors spreading that suggest LEGO Horizon Adventures will reportedly come to Xbox consoles sometime in 2025.
The game is PlayStation's most recent exclusive that could soon arrive on its rival platform in the near future. The video game industry has changed a lot in the last decade, and more and more exclusives are making their way to other platforms.
LEGO Horizon Adventures
One of the main benefits of a console in olden times was exclusive titles that could not be played anywhere else. Xbox was known for Halo and Gears of War, Nintendo was popular with Mario and Zelda, and PlayStation was known for Uncharted and other exclusives.
The primary reason that people chose their specific consoles was mostly due to personal preference regarding which games they enjoyed. Each console typically focused on a particular style of games.
PlayStation and Xbox have recently started to release more of their games on other platforms in order to reach more players and get more profit. The former, in particular, decided to stagger the releases of its games, according to Comic Book.

The strategy that the company decided to use was to release the games on the PlayStation 5 first and bring them to PC a year or two later. Two titles are coming in the first few months of next year: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and The Last of Us Part II.
On the other hand, Xbox has taken a drastically different approach by bringing notable games, such as Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush, to the PlayStation 5. The company is also planning to bring one of its best exclusives in years, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, to the PlayStation 5.
Shifting Strategy Around Exclusive Games
Despite the situation, PlayStation has not yet confirmed whether or not LEGO Horizon Adventures will actually come to Xbox consoles. Other titles that received similar treatment were Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, Game Reactor said.
Some also said that exclusive titles on Xbox are already a thing of the past and will no longer be the case moving forward. The idea that PlayStation could bring LEGO Horizon Adventures to Microsoft's console is a major shift in its strategy.
This comes as the company has previously tested the waters of how popular its exclusive games would be on other platforms, such as PC, according to Insider Gaming.
The fact that PlayStation put LEGO Horizon Adventures on PC and Nintendo Switch on day one was already considered a bold move. This was something that the company had never done before.
