NetEase Games' highly popular 6v6 hero shooter Marvel Rivals features a ton of iconic and fan-favorite superheroes that take to the battlefield to see who comes out on top.
One of these heroes is Adam Warlock, who is classified as a Strategist character within the game. He has access to a variety of magical abilities that require some bit of tactical finesse in order to be efficient.
This guide helps players learn the basics of Adam Warlock in Marvel Rivals and how his abilities and ultimate work. There are also some tips as to how the hero's playstyle works and how he should be used on a team.
Adam Warlock's Abilities
This particular strategist hero's primary attack comes in two forms: Quantum Magic and Cosmic Cluster. The first lets players shoot bullets that deal a lot of damage, especially when they are headshots.
The latter works like a charged shot where Adam Warlock holds his weapon to gather more and more energy before launching all of his bullets at an enemy, according to Dexerto.
The hero's passive ability is known as Regenerative Cocoon, which lets him move freely once his body perishes. His soul then reforges the physical body at a chosen spot. Adam Warlock's Team-Up passive ability is Soul Perseverance and is done with Star-Lord and Mantis.

The latter grants either of the two other superheroes the power of cocooned revival, which is basically a 15% healing boost.
Adam Warlock's first active ability is Avatar Life Stream, where you target an ally to launch a bouncing stream of healing energy. This also heals you when you cast it, and the ability self-targets if you do not select an ally.
The next ability is Soul Bond, which creates a link between Adam Warlock's allies with whom he comes into contact. This will then distribute the damage that affected teammates receive across all those who are connected, The Gamer said.
On top of this, the ability also provides a minor healing-over-time effect for every hero that is connected by the link. This is particularly useful during team fights, as sharing the damage of enemy attacks can help squishy characters survive for longer.
Adam Warlock's Ultimate
This Strategist hero's ultimate ability is known as Karmic Revival, where the character awakens the karma of his allies in order to revive them. Revived allies will have lower health but will be invincible for a short period of time.
Using this ability at the right time can be a major turning point for a match because it can catch enemies completely off guard. One of the best times to use this is when enemy heroes just use their ultimate abilities themselves.
Other Tips
Adam Warlock's main role is to be a support hero who heals allies and provides support fire against enemies. What sets him apart from other Strategist heroes is that he is also used as a sort of sniper due to his high damage potential at long ranges.
The best time to use Soul Bond is when your teammates are close together to heal all of them while reducing the damage they take. You should be using Avatar Life Stream on your weakest allies to give them a big burst of life.
You should be careful about your positioning and try to stay alive, especially when you have your ultimate available. Being the last one to perish is sometimes useful as you can float away in your ghost form and immediately revive your teammates when you can, according to Dot Esports.
