Epic Games Support has finally addressed the issue where the "Ready Up" button in Fortnite was missing for a lot of players.
The problem surfaced following the release of the latest patch for the game and forces players to return to the lobby before they can load into another game. A social media post acknowledged the issue, noting that the developers were investigating the problem.
Fortnite's Ready Up Button Issue
The studio did not provide a specific timeline as to when it would be able to restore the Ready Up button in Fortnite. It did, however, reassure players that the feature will be coming back in a "future update."
The social media post also instructed players who wanted to play another match to simply go back to the lobby and join a new game from there. However, this is something that a lot of people are complaining about as it just adds another step to a previously simple feature, according to The Direct.
The new change does not necessarily have a major effect on players' overall gaming experience in Fortnite but it is considered somewhat annoying. The issue has become a stain on the game's majorly well-received new season.

A lot of players attended the "Remix: The Finale" concert that featured real-life artist Juice WRLD and was held on Saturday. The in-game event turned up record numbers for Fortnite. But the latest issue came up after people talked about not seeing the Ready Up button, Esports said.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 introduces a new map and various weapon loot pool changes that players can now experience for themselves. The update is officially called "Demon Hunters" and is the latest major content drop for the game.
Investigating the Problem
Demon Hunters features a Japan-themed map and concept where demons are attacking the island and you are tasked with hunting them down. You gain access to a ton of new tools to complete your mission.
A slew of new weapons were added with the newest update, including the Holo Twister Assault Rifle and Twinfire Auto Shotgun. Additionally, all traditional weapons revert to hitscan functionality.
The latter means that players will no longer have to factor in how far away their enemies are when they are shooting at them. The new change means that bullets will continue to fly straight without losing any speed or height.
There are also two new types of oni masks; Fire Oni Mask and Void Oni Mask. The former allows players to shoot fire-infused projectiles. The latter gives you the ability to teleport short distances, according to Polygon.
