A datamine of BioWare's Dragon Age: The Veilguard revealed various new information about the game's characters, including their ages and new descriptions.

User @amirdrassil on X compiled a 27-page Google Docs file and shared it online that lists down information purportedly found hidden within the game's backend. These include the ages and bios of many of Dragon Age: The Veilguard's characters.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Datamine

Some of these characters are individuals that players have previously encountered in previous entries in the Dragon Age franchise. Word of warning as the information listed below might be spoilers for a lot of players so read with caution.

The social media user stressed that the datamined information could have been stripped from Dragon Age: The Veilguard for a variety of reasons. This means that they should be taken with a grain of salt as they may no longer be canon within the game's universe.

This is especially true because they may have originated from "scrapped or altered storylines." The datamined notes supposedly were meant for the developers only and not the public while they were making the game, according to Eurogamer.

The notes reveal that the Inquisitor was already around 30 years old, which means that the character was around his early 20s in Dragon Age: Inquisition. On the other hand, Isabela was revealed to be around 50 years old in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

What is also worth noting is that at one point, Isabela's appearance could have differed depending upon "how the player resolves her past." Another character included in the datamined information was Morrigan who was said to be around 40 years old along with Solas.

Various New Information

Another thing included in the files was the Inquisitor's bio, which seems to explain that they are not more involved in the narrative because they would "bring too much attention." This is different in the final game where they did not provide assistance because they were fighting the Blight in the South, The Gamer said.

The datamined information also showed the ages of the four new companions in the game, with Harding at 29 years old, Emmrich at 50 years old, Lucanis at 36 years old, and Neve at 30 years old.

One noteworthy feature that seems to have been scrapped was world states. The developers also considered importing the Well of Sorrows choice from previous entries. In this particular quest, either the Inquisitor or Morrigan may drink from the water in order to hear the voices of Mythal's servants, according to MSN.
