Untold Tales and The Farm 51 announced that Chernobylite Complete Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch handheld console on Dec. 13, 2024.
The game was first made available in early access on PC via Steam on Oct. 16, 2019, and then fully released on July 28, 2021. It then came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on Sept. 28, 2021, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on Apr. 21, 2022.
Chernobylite on Nintendo Switch
The game will be available in two forms, the Complete Edition and the Premium Edition. Both versions will feature extra bonuses that players will receive. The former will get the base game alongside all up-to-date content. These include extra story missions, locations, and more.
The Premium edition on the other hand will include everything in the Complete Edition but will add digital downloads of the official Chernobylite Soundtrack and Artbook. It will also include two cosmetic weapons and hideout DLC, according to Gematsu.
Key features of the game include base building and crafting similar to other survival games. Players can make their own headquarters which will be their starting point for a variety of operations and expeditions.

You can also expand and upgrade your base to suit your needs as well as those of your companions who help you in your journey. You have access to a variety of workstations that are used to craft useful gadgets, traps, and powerful weapons.
Chernobylite is described as an RPG survival horror title that also mixes in some free exploration mechanics. The game features various disturbing locations that provide players with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear science-fiction stories, New Game Network said.
An RPG Horror Survival
The game lets players build their own unique team that will work together to survive and uncover the mysteries of the region. The area is a 3D-scanned recreation of the Exclusion Zone in Chernobyl.
You can assign various tasks to your companions such as gathering resources and scouting new areas in the map. You can also give them the dangerous assignment of eliminating threats near your base.
Players will have to manage their base in order to keep morale high while also carefully making choices that will affect their companions' loyalty. Every day in the Exclusion Zone brings brand-new challenges and takes a toll on your supplies.
If you are running low, you will have to venture outside of your base and go on supply runs to restock various resources. You can avoid detection by being stealthy or using force if necessary, according to Nintendo Everything.
