'LEGO Fortnite' Resources Guide: How To Get Sand & Glass

There are a ton of items and craftables that players can find and make in LEGO Fortnite that have a variety of uses and benefits.

The game also features sand and glass that are needed in several recipes that you can unlock throughout your adventures. These two materials can be used to make the compass and the spyglass if you wish.

This guide helps players learn how to get sand and glass or how to craft the latter if that is their preferred method of acquiring it. There are a lot of different ways to get these materials so let's get right to it.

How To Get Sand

In order to find these two materials, players will have to travel to areas where there is a sandy biome. You can go to either the Dry Valley or the beaches in order to find sand and glass for your crafting needs, according to Game Rant.

When you get to these areas, you have to use your shovel in order to gather sand. If you do not own one, you can just get three wooden rods and one plank to craft a tool. This item can be crafted at the Crafting Bench.

It is also highly recommended to have an upgraded shovel to make it more efficient for you to dig up sand. This is primarily because the amount of sand you get depends on the rarity of the shovel you use.

How To Find Glass

Getting glass in the early game is a bit of a difficult endeavor but there is one method that you can use. You can get this item as a drop from humanoid enemies that are found wandering the Grasslands biome, Siliconera said.

You should focus your search along the roads, near campfires, and dilapidated buildings. It is advisable to look for these enemies during the day as they are more common compared to the nighttime.

Crafting Glass

The simpler method to get glass is simply to craft it using sand that you collect from the overworld. In order to craft glass, you need a Metal Smelter that requires Brightcore, Obsidian Slabs, and Blast Cores.

The materials that you need to actually craft glass are one Brightcore and two pieces of sand. You should stock up on this item as it is very useful for a lot of different items in LEGO Fortnite. These include new vehicles that become available to players, according to Destructoid.
