Free-To-Play 'Strinova' Gets Official Release Date for Consoles, PC, Mobile

The free-to-play fast-paced action shooter Strinova which features anime-like visuals is coming to PC on Nov. 18, 2024.

Developer iDreamSky announced the news and noted that the game will also be coming to modern-generation consoles and mobile devices in 2025. Strinova will have five game modes at launch and will feature 14 maps as well as 15 playable Superstrings.

Strinova Release Date

The studio plans to add more characters, maps, and game modes moving forward. These will be added through new seasons and tournaments. The developer is urging fans to keep a close eye on the game's official website and social media accounts. These could provide for more information ahead of its release.

In the game, humanity is in a new golden age after migrating to a mysterious multi-dimensional realm that is known as Strinova. There are now powerful factions that have formed which have conflicting ideologies.

These factions have started to wage war against each other to take control of energy crystals that would allow them to have power over the realm's fate. Players can choose from a variety of superstrings, according to Gematsu.

These playable characters range from P.U.S., The Scissors, and Urbino. The first is considered the defender while the second is the attacker. The last one is described as a neutral character. You can use these superstrings to conquer the battlefield and subsequently the fate of the world.

Stringification, also known as Stringify, will empower players so that they can seamlessly transition between 3D and 2D forms. This mechanic will fundamentally alter the way that you play the game as a whole.

A Unique Battle System

The 5v5 hero shooter also has a set of pre-registration rewards that are currently up for grabs if the community reaches specific milestones. The last of these is that you unlock Perfect Quality Kokona's Quasar - Tidal Duck, Sports Illustrated said.

The game's 3D-2D system incorporates into its movement mechanics and lets players reposition and move in a variety of different ways. You can use this to find hidden areas on the map or even set up some deadly traps for enemies.
