'Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp' Offline Version Gets Official Release Date

Nintendo just announced Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. The game is set to launch on Dec. 3, 2024, and will be available for $20.

This is a completely offline version of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which is set to be shut down on Nov. 29, 2024. The December release will be available for purchase for only $10 for a short time after release.

The main thing to note about the launch is that it will give players a way to play the popular game. It also gives long-time fans of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp a chance to continue playing by transferring their saved data to the offline version.

Nintendo also released a trailer for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete that shows what fans can expect from the offline version title, according to My Nintendo News.

The discounted price of $10 will be available until Jan. 31, 2025, at which point the game will be sold at $20 moving forward. The purchase is a one-time payment for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, which will not feature in-game purchases.

The game will include a variety of items and events that Nintendo previously released for the online version's seven-year lifespan. The original game was released in 2017 and lives on in the offline version because it would feature the same general gameplay.

There are also a ton of seasonal events that players can experience throughout their playthrough that give life to their everyday work. These include Garden Events and Fishing tournaments that are held every month.

The main feature with the release of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is the ability to transfer your saved data from the original game. This lets you bring over all levels and bells as well as friendship levels with animals.

You will also be able to keep all of the items in your inventory and warehouses. The transfer will include camp layouts and current and saved outfits, according to Shack News.
