Fallout Shelter has a lot of items that players can loot or craft. But arguably the most important ones are weapons.

There are a ton of different weapons in Fallout Shelter. These include melee weapons like swords and clubs. The game also has devastating ranged weapons like assault rifles. But there are some weapons that are considered a cut above the rest and should be the goal of any player.

This guide helps you learn what the best weapons in Fallout Shelter are and how you can get them. Equipping your dwellers with these weapons will guarantee that they are prepared for any raiders or even Deathclaws.

Charon's Shotgun

This weapon is equipped with a drum magazine and features an automatic fire mode that lets your dweller deal a lot of damage quickly. While it doesn't do as much as other Legendary weapons, its relatively cheap crafting requirements more than make up for it.

In order to craft Charon's Shotgun, you will need to have three pieces of Shovel, two pieces of Gold Watch, and two pieces of Military Duct Tape. This lets you make a lot of copies to equip your dwellers while you gather stronger weapons, according to Game Rant.

Lead Belcher

The Lead Belcher is a minigun that has a very high rate of fire. However, each shot deals relatively low damage. This weapon is equipped with six separate barrels and it is fed by a belt mechanism.

If you want to craft this weapon, you would need four pieces of Shovel, three pieces of Gold Watch, and two pieces of Military Duct Tape. A lot of your dwellers will most likely use this weapon until you can get the endgame weapons.

Plasma Rifle

This Legendary weapon has a moderate damage range and is very useful for mid-range combat. What makes the Plasma Rifle good is that it works extremely well against raiders as well as Mole Rats. You should equip this weapon on the ones who have high Perception and Agility.

To craft a Plasma Rifle, you need to acquire three pieces of Alarm Clock, three pieces of Globe, and three pieces of Microscope. What makes this weapon even better is that it does not use any sort of ammunition, Sportskeeda said.

Fat Man

This nuclear launcher is arguably one of, if not, the best weapon in Fallout Shelter due to its sheer damage potential. With a high damage range, it also deals area-of-effect damage to take out multiple enemies at once.

The main issue with the Fat Man is that it has a relatively slow firing rate, which means it is not very useful against many enemies if they are not sticking together. To craft this weapon, you need four pieces of Shovel, three pieces of Military Duct Tape, and two pieces of Chemistry Flask.

In Fallout Shelter, it is highly recommended to have all of your dwellers equipped with good armor as well as a good weapon. This lets your dwellers become prepared for any potential raiders or radroach infestations.

The only dwellers that you shouldn't arm with weapons are pregnant women as they will flee to wait out any potential disasters, according to Digital Trends.
