The Platboom Echo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a powerful echo that can be very useful for players who know how to use it.
In the game, platbooms are floating mattresses that have spiky bottoms, which make them extremely dangerous. They move up and down and players can take advantage of the Platboom Echo during the many platforming sections of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
First Platboom Echo Location
There are two main locations where players can get the Platboom Echo and the first is in the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins. You need to attack the yellow squishy part when the platbooms drop down.
The particular area here that you need to go to is the rift that you can clear before going to the Cryptic Cavern and the Gerudo Sanctum. In the northern part of the dungeon, you can hunt for Tri's friends. Here is where you can find a two-dimensional cave filled with platbooms, according to Polygon.

The main issue with this area is that the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins will completely vanish when you complete this part of the game's story. This means that if you did not get the Platboom Echo here, you need to go to the alternative area.
Second Platboom Echo Location
The second place where you can get the Platboom Echo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is just outside of Gerudo Town inside a cave. This is also where you can find a Heart Piece, Nintendo Life said.
In order to actually get to this particular cave, you need to use Beds or other platforming Echo powers to climb up the cliff. You then go down a ladder and there you will find platbooms to farm to get the Platboom Echo.
Beating Platbooms
To get the Platboom Echo, you need to actually defeat platbooms until it drops. You have several options to go about doing this. You can use your Swordfighter form to attack platbooms from the side.
You can also make use of your other Echoes that specialize in combat. Be wary of getting squashed as it deals a lot of damage. One tactic is to wait for the platboom to drop and then use Tri to keep it still while you attack it.
While the Platboom Echo is one of the most useful Echoes in the game, it is also arguably one of the best to use to get to hard-to-reach areas, according to Screen Rant.
