The Fortnite limited edition DualSense PlayStation 5 controller is now available for pre-order and some retailers are selling out fast.

The DualSense controllers are being sold for $85 each and are now available for pre-order at Walmart and Target. They were also previously available for pre-order at Amazon but had since sold out. On the other hand, Walmart sold out its initial batch and was able to restock its supplies.

Fortnite-Themed PS5 Controller

The limited edition Fortnite-themed controller is set to officially come out on Nov. 7, 2024. It comes alongside two other controllers from PlayStation's new Chroma Collection: Chroma Pearl DualSense and Chroma Indigo DualSense. Both of these are available for $80 each.

The Fortnite limited edition PlayStation 5 DualSense controller features a blue color scheme and has graffiti-style decals. The latter were designed based on the game itself. This particular product stands out with its chaotic design which is the complete opposite of the recently released Astro Bot product, according to Game Spot.

The new controller is similar to the basic DualSense controllers in terms of features. These include haptic feedback, dynamic triggers, touchpad, and gyro controls. PlayStation also recently increased the price of regular DualSense controllers by $5.

This particular change can be seen with the Fortnite limited edition product with its price tag of $85 as the previous Astro Bot controller only cost $80. This was probably done because pre-orders were already available when the increase went into effect.

On top of the Fortnite limited edition controller, other PlayStation products are opening up pre-orders around the same time. These include Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and LEGO Horizon Adventures, 5MU said.

The remaster of the original Horizon Zero Dawn game is set to officially launch on Oct. 31, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and PC users. If you own the original PlayStation 4 or PC version, you can simply upgrade it for the cost of $15.

Other Limited Edition Products

On the other hand, LEGO Horizon Adventures will be coming out on Nov. 14, 2024, for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Players who pre-ordered the game will receive the Shield Weaver Outfit as a bonus, according to Press Start.

The Fortnite limited edition product comes as there are many versions of the DualSense controllers that players can purchase. One of these is the Chroma Teal which will become available on Jan. 23, 2025.

November is set to be a busy month for PlayStation lovers as the PlayStation 5 Pro is also set to debut on Nov. 7, 2024. This follows the upgraded unit's official reveal earlier this year and pre-orders for the console began on Sept. 26, 2024, PlayStation Direct and Oct. 10, 2024, for major retailers.
