Hunt: Showdown

Released on August 27, 2019, Hunt: Showdown is an open world extraction shooter game developed and published by Crytek. As of press time, the game is playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. However, support for last-gen consoles have been ditched by Crytek.

The player takes on the role of a Hunter whose task is to eliminate the monsters that have infested the Louisiana Bayou. While solo play is available, players can also play in teams of two or three. There is a competitive aspect to the game as you are competing against other Hunters who are after the same reward as you.

Should you win the bounty, expect for the game to shift. Instead of hunting monters, other Hunters will now be hunting you in a quest to get your bounty from you.
