World of Warcraft's Big Patch Unlocks All Gear Styles for Players

World of Warcraft is rolling out a big patch that's a game-changer for fans. With this update, players can now unlock every style of gear just by finishing quests. This means no more repeating the same quests to collect different looks.

Even if it's armor or weapons, once you complete the quest, you get them all. This cool new feature kicks off with Patch 11.0.5, making it easier and more fun to spice up your character's wardrobe.

World of Warcraft Patch Changes Everything

Of all the updates taking place in the world of MMORPG gaming, not many can hold their ground against the newest update arriving for World of Warcraft. This new patch will allow players to unlock all the gear styles from in-game quests, including in the long-anticipated MMORPG.

The new feature with Patch 11.0.5 hopes to make life a little easier for players. This means the end of repetitively redoing quests for various transmogs. Once you complete a quest, every gear style that could drop from that quest will automatically unlock for your character.

The introduction of this feature is a significant shift from previous game mechanics. Before this patch, World of Warcraft players would need to complete the same quests with different characters geared in cloth, leather, mail, or plate to unlock all possible transmogs. This was a time-consuming process that often led to frustration among the community.

Bug Becomes a Cool Feature

Game Rant also reported that the idea for this update came from unexpected beginnings. During the beta testing for the War Within, players noticed they were unlocking transmogs for gear types their characters couldn't even use.

Initially thought to be a bug, the game developers realized the potential to enhance the gaming experience by turning this bug into a feature.

Further enhancing the appeal of this update, the developers have confirmed that any previously completed quests will also contribute to unlocking transmogs. This means that the first time players log in after the update, they will find new gear styles already available for use based on their past achievements.
