Console Wars: The Card Game brings the madness of the age-long debate of which console is better and turns it into a fun and chaotic card game as revealed by an official Kickstarter trailer.
It is a satirization card game that is based on the real-world video game industry and was created by XboxEra. In Console Wars: The Card Game, players will be able to build decks based on various intellectual property, genres, and more.

They will have to build up an army of hardcore or casual gamers in order to defeat their opponents who are doing the same. In Console Wars: The Card Game, you can steal fans of other players by releasing new games.
There are also a variety of action cards that can be used against opponents to damage their game's pipeline entirely. The card game is launching soon with a Kickstarter page now available for people who want to support it, according to IGN.

XboxEra said on the official Kickstarter page that the card game is a "satirical, parody-filled spin on the gaming industry." The game's reveal trailer also featured Abubakar Salim, an actor and game developer, as narrator for the Console Wars: The Card Game actually is.
In the trailer, Salim says that in order to win Console Wars: The Card Game, content is king, adding that intellectual property ownership of the best games is a crucial factor. The primary requirement to win in this card game is to have ownership of four full sets of intellectual property across multiple genres.
A Satirization of the Video Game Industry
The genres range from action-packed first-person shooters, to iconic platforms, and deep, complex role-playing games. As you play through the card game, you will have to amass as many fans as you can, said Insider Gaming.
Fans are important as without them, you will have no momentum and more likely no platform at all to advance. This means that keeping fans is crucial to holding onto your precious gaming franchises to beat your opponent.
The Kickstarter page for Console Wars: The Card Game also featured a detailed guide on how to play the game. There are also quick guide reference cards that are included in the game itself that have a QR code that links to the video guide to help players learn.
Co-founder and editor-in-chief of XboxEra, Jon, also known as Sikamikanico, said that he had the crazy idea for his own card game last year. He noted that Console Wars: The Card Game comes after a lot of design iteration, playtesting with friends, and beautiful artwork by Predrag, according to Kickstarter.
