Shinji Mikami, the creative mind behind the famous Resident Evil series, is showing a lot of excitement for a possible comeback of the Killer7 series. In a recent video chat with fellow game developer Suda51, Mikami expressed his desire to see new life breathed into Killer7, a game they both created back in 2005.

Resident Evil Creator Ready for Killer7 Revival
Contrary to the gaming world, which may seem so fast, news has it that the franchise visionary behind Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami, is hopeful for the revival of the Killer7 series.
This interest was revealed during a recent Grasshopper Direct presentation where Mikami and Soichi Suda, or Suda51, discussed their future projects.
As IGN mentioned, Mikami was adamant about staying hands-on in game creation and explicitly voiced his desire that Suda helm a new Killer7 chapter or complete edition.
Released in 2005, Killer7 has indeed left a mark among gamers for its very different first-person shooter and elements of puzzle solving.
This game tells the story of Harman Smith and his seven distinct personalities, all of whom are assassins caught in a highly complex plot of political intrigue and supernatural battles.
Its very challenging controls have done little to deter the onset of a devoted fan base probably because of its very bold narrative and stylized visuals.
Killer7 Revival Hints Excite Fans
In response to Mikami's enthusiasm, Suda51 revealed that the company might make a Killer7 complete edition before really going for a sequel. He mentioned that enhancing the original game could include adding more dialogue for characters like Coyote, who was initially planned to be more vocal.
One even floated the idea of a sequel, possibly titled "Killer7: Beyond," suggesting there's even more to this incredibly popular game.
While this may allude to nothing at this point, fans of the series and new players can look forward as both creators seem committed to revisiting the world of Killer7. No announcements have been made officially, but the discussions suggest new developments in the horizon.
