T-1000, Ghostface Headline Crossover Characters

The addition of the T-1000, unforgettable for its feature in Terminator 2, is yet another comeback of the Terminator franchise to the series of Mortal Kombat. Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, the T-800, was already a part of Mortal Kombat 11.

Ghostface will also be included, making an appearance as he is the well-known killer from the Scream series, shocking many fans by this revelation. This isn't Ghostface's first appearance in video games, with the character having already appeared in games like Dead by Daylight and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Classic Mortal Kombat Characters Return with Khaos Reign

Joining these new characters in the fight will be some classic Mortal Kombat fighters. The always popular Noob Saibot returns, now joined by Cyrax and Sektor. In Mortal Kombat 1, these two had simply been Kameo Fighters, but are now fully playable in the Khaos Reign expansion. Now, these characters appear in new forms as humans, an interesting twist in the way they are represented.

In addition to new warriors, the Khaos Reign expansion will also introduce another fan favorite element for this franchise: Animalities. These special moves, in which the character morphs into some kind of animal to execute a finishing move of some kind, come back with nostalgic feels in the game.
