Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7 Beta Delayed Due to Passive Dice Roll Bug

Larian Studios delayed the beta for Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7 because of a big bug. This bug was related to passive dice rolls not functioning at all, so it rescheduled the beta's launch to later this week. Even with such a setback, Larian Studios reassured fans by stating there will be over 1,000 fixes and improvements included in the upcoming patch.

Beta Delay and Bug Fixes

Larian Studios announced the delay in a post on X, stating they are working to resolve the issue before releasing the beta. According to the studio, fixing passive dice roll bugs and related issues is going on before the release of the beta. As everybody waits for the beta, Larian has shared some of the patch's highlights.

The new patch touts user interface improvements, the addition of Honour Mode, and a few new features. It has evil endings, mod manager, and revamped splitscreen gameplay. The studio is very confident that these updates will make a huge difference in the gaming experience for players of Baldur's Gate 3.

New Features and Improvements

Fans can still sign up for the closed beta on the Baldur's Gate 3 store page on Steam. Everyone who signs up will have a chance to get into the beta whenever it goes live. Larian Studios has also teased content like crossplay and a photo mode down the line, so this game won't stop updating anytime soon.
