The live-action TV adaptation of Halo is no more. Paramount+ has officially canceled the TV series after just two seasons.
The confirmation was made to Variety by the streaming platform. In a statement, Paramount+ said that "We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work.
"We wish everyone the best going forward," the statement added.
343 Industries Reacts to the Cancelation
343 Industries, the developer behind the Halo video games, said in a statement that "We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who propelled the 'Halo' series to be a global success and we remain committed to broadening the Halo universe in different ways in the future."
The company expressed their gratitude by saying "We are grateful to Amblin and Paramount for their partnership in bringing our expansive sci-fi universe to viewers around the world."

Halo TV Series
The first season of the "Halo" TV series made hit Paramount+ on March 24, 2022. The series stars Pablo Schreiber as the main character of the video game franchise, Master Chief Petty Officer John-117. Other members of the cast include Shabana Azmi, Olive Gray, Natasha Culzac, and Yerin Ha.
The series was renewed for its second season even before the first season premiered. The second season premiered on February 8, 2024.
