EA FC 25 Changes in Division Rivals
Division Rivals in EA FC 24 held a number of checkpoints thereby promoting players at those points based on consecutive wins, with no relegation until the reset of the season.
EA FC 25 is going to implement a relegation system and also decrease the total number of checkpoints. This change will make sure that most of the players do not get stuck at one level where it becomes hard to win matches. EA Sports believes the relegation system will help to better match players based on their ability so they can move up into the Elite Division or, alternatively, drop down one division if their skills warrant it.
New Weekly Rewards and Matchmaking Changes
Another major change made to EA FC 25 includes weekly rewards. The concept of specific wins every week to gain rewards has been done away with. The system will now reward players based on accumulating a certain number of points weekly, where even draws count toward the total.
The new friendlies will play with a new W-L formula identical to the one used in Champions Finals mode, not the old Division Rivals system. Secondly, it will be possible to upgrade cards from Friendly modes.
