Electronic Arts announced a major update for The Sims 4, introducing the Lovestruck Expansion Pack. Launching on July 25, 2024, this expansion offers players new romance features, including a dating app and outdoor woohoo locations. Sims can now explore the romantic city of Ciudad Enamorada, filled with beautiful spots and exciting activities.

Experience Romance in Ciudad Enamorada
In the Lovestruck Expansion Pack, players can create dating profiles for their Sims on the Cupid's Corner app. This app helps Sims find romantic matches based on their preferences. As they navigate the dating scene, Sims can discover turn-ons and turn-offs of potential partners and even become Romance Consultants.
The new city, Ciudad Enamorada, features three neighborhoods: Vista Hermosa, Plaza Mariposa, and Nuevo Corazón. Each neighborhood has unique romantic spots, such as botanical gardens, nightclubs, and scenic parks. Sims can enjoy picnics, late-night snacks, and star-gazing, creating memorable romantic experiences.
Customize Your Sim's Love Life
The Lovestruck Expansion Pack also introduces a new Singles Hangout lot trait, attracting single Sims ready to mingle. Players can plan dates using the new date planning system, selecting venues, activities, and goals. New romantic interactions include a kiss, a sultry dance, and three new woohoo spots.
Sims will develop different romance dynamics, like wholesome, steamy, strained, and unpredictable relationships. They also have the opportunity to enhance their Romance Skill, which unlocks new interactions like passionate make-out sessions and neck kisses.
Players will enjoy the new Attraction system, where Sims have specific turn-ons and turn-offs affecting their romantic satisfaction. The expansion also adds two new Aspirations: Paragon Partner and Romantic Explorer. Sims can face new fears, like Fear of Intimacy and Fear of Being Alone, and even become Romance Consultants as a career.
The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack is available for preorder now and will be playable on various platforms, including PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.
