Introducing Cutting-Edge Features and Functionality

Hori's latest offering integrates advanced features tailored for modern gaming needs. The controller includes four additional programmable inputs strategically positioned for enhanced gameplay control: two beneath the D-pad and right analog stick, alongside two backside pedals. Promotional materials also highlight support for gyroscopic and rapid-fire functionalities, promising a versatile gaming experience.

Seamless Connectivity and Design

Designed for seamless integration, the wireless Steam controller supports both Bluetooth and wired USB connections. It leverages Steam Input compatibility, ensuring native support across Steam platforms and Valve's handheld gaming device, Steamdeck. Additionally, an XInput mode facilitates usage on Windows systems with non-Steam games, albeit with wired connectivity and disabled gyro controls.

Hori offers a dedicated desktop application for Windows users to personalize settings, such as stick sensitivity and button mapping, enhancing usability.

The controller's innovative features extend to its touch-sensitive sticks and customizable triggers, which toggle between digital and analog modes to cater to various gaming genres, from precision shooters to immersive racing simulations.

Priced at ¥7,980 (approximately $50 USD), the controller is available for preorder in multiple color variants-white, black, neon yellow, and neon purple-through Hori's online store. While initially exclusive to Japan, speculation remains about its potential availability in other markets, including North America.
