Developer FRAME BREAK is celebrating reaching 1 million players on Lightyear Frontier, its early access debut title, by introducing the Make it Home update.
The latest patch will feature a variety of new content that will be coming to the game, including quality-of-life improvements and fan-requested features, on June 26, 2024. Lightyear Frontier is a farming simulator but is set on a foreign planet.

You can play with the help of your friends and each of you will have access to your own mech suit. Lightyear Frontier was developed by FRAME Break and Amplifier Games and the team has been listening to player feedback and used it as a guide for the various quality-of-life updates.
Some of the features that fans have been asking for that will be part of the Make it Home update include new banners, posters, stickers, benches, lights, and many more. These will all be available for purchase from the merchant and can be crafted in the game, according to WindowsCentral.
Players will also be able to look forward to the developers adding wall decorations, giving them the freedom to hand decorative items on solid surfaces. On the other hand, co-op users who have been having difficulties with the game's map also get something in the new update.
This is a brand-new map marker system that will make it significantly easier for you to explore Lightyear Frontier's expansive world. There will be more than 1,000 stamps available to be used by players on a single server.

These will give you and your companions the freedom to mark all of your favorite resource spots, watering holes, and ruins. This is particularly handy when you want to find new foliage sprouts.
Some of the other things to look out for are the newly extended day and night cycles and new emotes. The Make it Home update will also implement auto collection for storage boxes and holograms as well as letting players relocate existing constructs, said BleedingCool.

The game's key features include being able to discover ancient ruins, uncovering the secrets of the planet, and deciphering a message that was left unheard for eons. Players are also able to customize their mech suits with various parts to help them traverse the world.
Lightyear Frontier features a wide range of exotic plants and you can discover and cultivate for your own resources in search of a sustainable lifestyle. There are a variety of different species of alien wildlife that you can domesticate.
This particular part of the game also has a breeding and genetics system that makes it even more immersive. The game gives players the freedom to build anywhere and lets them customize their farm however they like.
There are a ton of constructs and cosmetic tools that can be used to help your goal of building a distinct homestead. Be wary as there are a multitude of weather conditions and other environmental hazards across four distinct seasons.
