Las Vegas Gets a Major Upgrade

Las Vegas, located in the Mojave Desert of southern Nevada, now features incredible detail in the game. Players can see iconic hotels, The Luxor Sky Beam, and the Las Vegas Sphere up close.

The developer stated in the Flight Simulator blog, "Microsoft Flight Simulator City Update VIII brings Las Vegas and its myriad facets alive like never before in the world." The update uses the latest high-resolution aerial imagery, digital elevation model data, and TIN surface texturing to create a highly realistic view of the city.
