The consensus on Destiny 2's latest expansion pack, The Final Shape, is quite clear: it delivers a superb finale to the Light and Dark saga and is a delight in most ways that matter. However, for those eager to grab all the available content through the Legacy Collection, there is bad news.

Missing Dungeon Keys
Even though Bungie has bundled all of Destiny 2's previous expansion packs into a single Legacy Collection bundle, making it enticing for newcomers, it does not include all older legacy content. Players will be missing out on Dungeon Keys for the Lightfall and Witch Queen expansion packs. This means that while you get access to the three classic dungeons (Pit of Heresy, Shattered Throne, and Grasp of Avarice) and the free Prophecy dungeon, the rest require additional purchases.
Community Outrage
Destiny 2 players are expressing their frustration over the exclusion of Dungeon Keys in the Legacy Collection. The community sees this as a cash grab by the developers, forcing players to spend more money to access content.
Players have taken to Reddit and other forums to voice their concerns. Many feel that having to buy Dungeon Keys separately, especially if they already own the expansions or seasons, is unfair.
One player commented, "Having to purchase Dungeon Keys at all if you own the expansion/season is disgusting." Another added, "Dungeon Keys are very scummy. I came back when Witch Queen was free on PSN, thinking I was getting a new dungeon to solo. Nope, met with tons of disappointment."
The Bigger Picture
While The Final Shape DLC is a significant win, offering a fantastic standalone experience, much of its appeal relies on players having experienced prior Destiny content. Dungeons, while not entirely crucial, add substantial depth to the game. Their exclusion from the Legacy Collection feels like a notable omission.
Though the Legacy Collection might go on sale eventually, Bungie is unlikely to discount Silver in the Eververse store, meaning Dungeon Keys will probably remain at full price for the foreseeable future.
