Overwatch 2's Season 11 is coming on June 20, 2024, and brings a ton of new content, including a new map, new Japanese superhero-inspired skins, and also a Transformers crossover.
The skins also include the return of one fan-favorite cosmetic and there is a community-crafted game mode that will celebrate the game reaching 100 million players worldwide. While the Transformers crossover will not be there at launch, Blizzard has already teased it to come later in the season.
Overwatch 2 Season 11 Content
The new season is known as Super Mega Ultrawatch and will introduce a ton of new skins that were inspired by the likes of Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Japanese kaiju. One of the game's characters, Ashe, will get a Mythic skin, known as Calamity Empress Ashe.
This is clearly inspired by Rita Repulsa from Power Rangers and can also be customized in a variety of ways.
Additionally, other Mythic weapon skins will be added in a mid-season update the first of which will be the Bound Demon weapon skin for Reinhardt. This turns the hero's hammer into a fiery demonic axe, according to GameSpot.
The latest season of Overwatch 2 will also have a new Push map that is set in the Peruvian Andes, Runasapi, as well as new Hero Master courses. The latter will be for Kiriko and Soldier 76.
There will also be buffs coming to each of the game's three roles, said Blizzard, as well as improvements to weekly challenges. The latter will give players who missed out on a previous week the chance to catch up before they move on to the current week's challenges.

It seems that Overwatch 2's Season 11 will be a comparatively smaller one for Blizzard's popular free-to-play shooter game. The new Push map will give players a new location to escort the robot throughout Season 11.
Runasapi serves as the hometown of support hero Ilari and Blizzard describes it as filled with marketplaces full of fresh produce. It is an area where you can pay a visit to the Inti Warrior Historical Museum and Monument, said Polygon.
A New Map To Fight In
On top of the new map, Colosseo, another Push map, will be getting a minor rework that includes changes to structures near spawn and the removal of glass barriers in the hallway located at the center of the map.
The heroes that will be getting new skins in Overwatch 2's Season 11 are Genji, Reaper, Sojourn, Roadhog, Zenyatta, Wrecking Ball, and many more. Additionally, Mauga's vacation is also here among the skins that will be added to the new battle pass.
During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Overwatch 2 was nowhere to be found, which left many fans disappointed. This was because they were unable to get a sneak peek of what they can expect to come in the game's newest season.
But shortly after the event, Blizzard reassured players by confirming when exactly they could look forward to getting a deep dive into everything coming to Overwatch 2. The studio confirmed that the new Push map will be available in both Quick Play and Competitive at launch, according to GameRant.
