New Hairstyles and Quality-of-Life Improvements
FromSoftware will be rolling out a significant update on June 20, a day before the DLC release. This update isn't just about fixing bugs and tweaking game balance; it introduces several enhancements to enrich the player experience. Notably, players will now be able to easily track their recently acquired items with a new "Recent Items" tab in the inventory. This addresses a common frustration where items could be easily lost or overlooked in the previous system.
Additionally, improvements to Summoning Pools promise to streamline gameplay further. In New Game Plus (NG+), Active Summoning Pools will carry over, and players will have the flexibility to manage individual pools through a newly added Map Functions menu. This change aims to provide more control over multiplayer experiences, aligning with player feedback for clearer and more customizable interactions.
Five New Hairstyles
Among the highlights of this update are five new hairstyles available for character customization. Players can apply these hairstyles right from character creation or modify them using in-game features like the Clouded Mirror Stand and Rennala's Rebirth option. This addition underscores FromSoftware's commitment to enhancing player immersion and personalization within the game world.
Players are encouraged to update their copies of Elden Ring on June 20 to experience these changes first hand before diving into the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on June 21.
