EVE Online Reintroduces Daily Login Bonuses in Equinox Update

CCP Games, the developers behind EVE Online, have reinstated daily login bonuses as part of their latest game update, Equinox. This move comes shortly after the removal of these rewards earlier in the day, sparking mixed reactions among the player base.

A Brief Hiatus and a Swift Return

Initially, with the Equinox expansion's rollout, players were taken aback by the absence of daily login rewards, a feature that had become somewhat of a routine since its introduction in 2018. This abrupt change left many players speculating about the reasons behind CCP's decision.

However, within hours of the update going live, CCP reversed course and reintroduced daily login rewards, aligning them with the new AIR Daily tasks system. These tasks promise additional rewards, though without the sought-after SKINs that were previously part of the login bonus package.

Celebrating with New Rewards

The revived daily login rewards include customary items like skill points and boosters, along with new additions tailored to EVE Online's recently introduced SKINR mechanics. This addition aims to engage players in exploring and utilizing the game's evolving features.

Looking Ahead

Contrary to initial concerns, CCP clarified that daily login rewards are not permanently removed but will likely return for special events and promotions. The first of such events is a seven-day campaign, coinciding with a promotional offer of seven days of free Omega time in the in-game store.

However, players holding Alpha accounts who already claimed Omega time before the campaign began will miss out on one day of the Omega benefits, including a significant 75,000 skill point injector, showcasing the intricate dynamics of EVE Online's gameplay.
