Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is bringing its latest DLC, The Sky Breaker, in July this year that will add a new area, a new enemy type, and many more.
This is the first DLC pack coming to the open-world action game that was developed by Massive Entertainment. The upcoming update will expand on the original Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's campaign storyline following its finale by bringing a new RDA threat from the skies.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's New DLC
In the DLC, the Na'vi clans that players have gathered together for their last fight with the human invaders are celebrating their newly won freedom. But then, a new RDA invasion appears from a new corner of the world.
You will have to explore a new area of the Upper Plains region that is known as The Heart of the Plains and is described as a "yet-to-be-discovered area." Other than new battles, the upcoming DLC will also let players participate in some traditional Na'vi festival games, according to Neowin.
These festival games will be crafted as timed challenges and there will also be a new Legendary rarity category that will be added to the game. Furthermore, Rank 25 will become the new cap to hit as Ubisoft is adding more skills for players to level up.
The official description for The Sky Breaker DLC details how the new RDA threatens the world of Pandora. When you explore the Heart of the Plains, you will encounter a new enemy archetype, the AMP Defender, which protects key facilities using its indestructible shield and top-mounted gatling gun.

Players will also face off against new RDA lieutenants who are equipped with AMP Suits that provide added firepower and offer better protection. These enemies are found in each of the RDA Command Stations.
The new DLC is set to release on July 16, 2024, and was first revealed during the Ubisoft Forward press conference. The Sky Breaker will be included as part of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's season pass, said GameSpot.
A New Threat Arrives
There is a second DLC that is titled Secrets of the Spires that is set to release in 2024 and comes after the game was first launched in December last year to solid reviews.
Some called it Ubisoft's digital recreation of Pandora that is "worth exploring" and brought a new approach to open-world game design and stunning visuals.
The Sky Breaker DLC makes a hard case for making now a great time to get into Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Since the game's launch, the team has remained committed to listening to player feedback. They aim to implement as many improvements as they can to make the gaming experience better.
The latest tile updates include a 40 frames per second Quality mode on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, Intel XeSS SuperSampling on PC, adjusted combat difficulty, Motion Aiming with PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers, and many more nifty features.
For those who are eager to get into the new DLC, they can upgrade to the Season Pass to gain access to it when it launches as well as the next DLC, the Secrets of the Spires. This would also let you go on a bonus quest and give you a variety of cosmetics, according to Gematsu.
