Palia, a virtual world where players build, explore, and socialize, has rolled out its highly-anticipated 0.180 update. This latest patch brings a plethora of new features, enhancing the gaming experience for its dedicated community.

Level 5 Friendship Quests and Decor Items
One of the highlights of the update is the introduction of level 5 friendship quests for several villagers including Jina, Hekla, and Einar. Players who have already reached level four friendship with these characters can now embark on these quests, with successful completion rewarding them with exclusive decor items to adorn their virtual abodes.
Grand Harvest House and Building Blocks System
Perhaps the most exciting addition to Palia's housing options is the Grand Harvest House. Available for construction after purchasing the blueprints from the City Hall Store, this new house boasts a second story, a spiral staircase, and a charming front porch. While currently limited in additional modifications for the second story, developers hint at potential expansions in the future. It's important to note that Grand Harvest Houses cannot be connected with other housing structures.
Furthermore, the update introduces the innovative Building Blocks system, providing players with enhanced flexibility in designing their housing plots. With various shapes and configurations to choose from, players can now unleash their creativity like never before. The Palia team has also teased the release of additional styles in subsequent updates.
Additional Features and Quality of Life Improvements
In addition to the major housing updates, patch 0.180 brings a host of other exciting features. Players can now utilize new pavers such as Wood Slab Paver, Terracotta Paver, and Square Concrete Paver to construct paths and walkways within their plots. Moreover, the update includes new decor items in the form of books and plushies, with some adorable insect plushies making their debut.
Furthermore, players can enjoy several quality of life improvements, including the option to toggle chat bubbles on or off. When enabled, these chat bubbles display messages over players' heads, enhancing communication and interaction within the virtual world.
