Electronic Arts just revealed the next two kits for The Sims 4's "Summer of Love," the Riviera Retreat and Cozy Bistro Kit DLC that will be arriving on May 30, 2024.
First up is the Riviera Retreat, which is perfect for those summery sunny days of relaxation and shameless undress.
This will also feature a "secluded oasis" incorporating stucco textures, beautiful archways, and shimmering waterfalls." All of these come with comfortable linen furniture, wicker lounge chairs, and vine-covered pergolas.
New The Sims 4 Kits
The video game studio said that this particular kit is focused on creating an ambience of serenity and connection for players' Sims, whether this be reclining and rejuvenating alone or together with a romantic partner.
On the other hand, the second, the Cozy Bistro Kit, is a DLC filled with charming "old world" streets and "hole-in-the-wall" noshing." For those who are wondering, the term was apparently a U.S. term for an easily overlooked establishment, according to Eurogamer.
EA also explained, "With welcoming awnings, classic furniture settings, and its inviting atmosphere," this bistro will be sure to become a favorite in the neighborhood. This kit promises to show off amenities that players can use in a bar or lounge lot.
It comes alongside building items including tall etched glass windows and doors, polished metal accents, bistro tables, and chairs, as well as vintage wall decor. The two new kits for The Sims 4 will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, the EA App, and Epic Games Store.

Each of the two new kits will most likely be priced at around $4.99 and EA also said that it will be adding two new builds that utilize each pack. These are the Cozy Bistro and Riviera Retreat Poolhouse for The Sims 4's in-game gallery.
The publisher has, over the last few months, shared a roadmap of upcoming new content for The Sims 4 that focuses on adding more inclusive styles. The developers of the game are also working on some major issues that fans of the franchise have faced in the last decade, said ScreenRant.
Continuous Updates for The Sims 4
There have been several updates that were free and available for everyone while there was some paid content. But regardless of how the new content is being delivered, it remains clear that there is continued effort to improve the game.
Back in the day, the pool used to be a much scarier spot for your Sims to hang out at during a time when players could simply delete a ladder and watch their creations helplessly drown. But now, they are able to pull themselves out.
The new two kits come as fans of the franchise are still eagerly waiting for any news about The Sims 5, which is currently known as codename Project Rene, said Polygon.
Typically, new content is a controversial topic among The Sims 4 community, particularly because of the cost and the number of bugs that accompany the packs at launch. These include broken mechanics and graphical glitches that players often experience.
