Redeeming Stellar Blade for Free
The game received a rating of 81/100 on review aggregator Metacritic and was also well-received by critics and players who have so far been loving it. It also reached a user score of 9.2/10, making it one of the best-rated PS5 games so far.
In order to claim Stellar Blade for free using Star Points, you need to have signed up for the free PlayStation Stars loyalty scheme and have sufficient points in your account.
For those who are PS Plus subscribers, they can earn points on each purchase that they make from the PlayStation Store, according to The Sun.
But regardless of a player's PS Plus membership status, they can also earn points by completing various campaigns that require them to buy specific games.
Other than points, the PlayStation Stars' campaigns allow anyone to earn digital collectibles by playing a game, completing in-game activities, and participating in online tournaments.

Those who are already in the PS Stars program, have a PS Plus subscription, and frequently buy games from the PS Store will most likely have enough points saved up to redeem Stellar Blade unless they used them on other games beforehand.
PlayStation Stars members are also able to check ongoing campaigns and the latest rewards that they can redeem in exchange for points via the PlayStation mobile app. It can be downloaded on any iOS and Android device from their respective app stores.
A Controversial Game
For those wondering, you can get 10 points for every $1 that you spend on the PlayStation Store. With that exchange rate in mind, getting Stellar Blade will cost roughly $1,750 if you only get points by buying games, said PushSquare.
The potential to get Stellar Blade for free comes as the game recently released a new update that added two revealing outfits that were not mentioned in the patch notes. The game has been controversial for quite a while and one of the most tantalizing discussions is whether or not it was censored.
Prior to its official release, Stellar Blade was marketed as "fully uncensored in all countries" but a day one patch seemingly made changes to the game. It also toned down violence levels and changed some of the protagonist's costumes. These include covering her thighs and cleavage in some outfits.
Because of these changes, which the developers said were intentional and were not forced upon them, there was a massive controversy. But now, the game seemingly added two revealing outfits, which are the Midsummer Alice and Midsummer Redhood costumes, according to GameRant.
