Hatsune Miku Enters the World of Magic: The Gathering

Hatsune Miku, known for her synthesized voice and captivating holographic performances, will soon make her debut in Magic: The Gathering. This collaboration, set to roll out throughout 2024, will include four different Secret Lair drops, each themed around different seasons.

The first drop, Sakura Superstar, will introduce Miku-themed cards such as Miku, Lost but Singing, and Miku, the Renowned. These cards offer unique abilities and are tailored for players who want to incorporate the digital diva into their commander decks.

Mark Heggen, Vice President of Collectibles at Wizards of the Coast, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the opportunity to merge Magic: The Gathering with pop culture phenomena like Hatsune Miku. The Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar set will be available for preorder starting May 13, offering both non-foil and foil editions at $29.99 and $39.99, respectively.

In other updates, Wizards of the Coast rolled out the newest set for Magic: The Gathering, Outlaws of Thunder Junction, on April 23. This expansion immerses players into the thrilling frontier realm of Thunder Junction, where outlaws from different dimensions gather in search of riches and excitement.
