The discounts come amid Steam's Gold Week Sale that honors the Japanese holiday in which every year at the end of April and start of May, various Bank Holidays in a row give people in the Asian country about a week off from work. A number of storefronts are doing sales on Japanese games in celebration of this event.
Steam's Golden Week Sale includes a variety of titles from several publishers, including Sega. Persona 5 was previously nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2017. However, it narrowly missed out to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
