A Grim Road Trip Returns

Originally released for PC last May, Darkest Dungeon 2 received praise for its immersive gameplay and eerie atmosphere. The game offers a haunting experience as players navigate through bone-chilling environments and engage in strategic turn-based combat.

New Heroes and Challenges Await

PlayStation owners will have access to the game's Binding Blade DLC alongside the main release. This DLC introduces two new heroes, each with their own unique abilities and backstories. Players can also expect to encounter a new roaming mini-boss threat known as the Warlord.

"We are excited to bring Darkest Dungeon 2 to PlayStation players," said Tyler Sigman, co-founder of Red Hook Studios. "The game has been optimized for the DualSense Controller, offering immersive features like feeling the heartbeat of a hero on death's door."

Pre-order and Pricing Details

Pre-orders for Darkest Dungeon 2 are now available on the PlayStation Store, with a 15 percent discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers until launch day. The standard edition will be priced at £32.49, while the Oblivion Edition, which includes the main game and Binding Blade DLC, will be available for £36.99.

In addition to the base game, players can look forward to a free new campaign mode called Kingdoms, set to be released later this year. This mode will combine the best elements of the original Darkest Dungeon with the enhanced gameplay of Darkest Dungeon 2.
