Cinnabunny is a new game by solo developer Reky Studio that is currently on Kickstarter and could bring players to a world where they take control of rabbits to bake a variety of treats!
Reky Studio's latest game comes after the success of the developer's previous title, Bunhouse, and the Kickstarter was launched on Mar. 20. While many games that go on Kickstarter are not always guaranteed to come out, Reky Studios is drawing from its prior success to jumpstart its latest endeavor.
Cinnabunny Launches Kickstarter Campaign
The success of Bunhouse makes the likelihood of Cinnabunny receiving the necessary funds even higher and makes fans eager for an official launch. Patrick Gauthier, the solo developer of Reky Studios, talked about what shape the new title's campaign is likely to take and what lessons were learned from Bunhouse.
Cinnabunny gives players a cozy baking game that is set in the rabbit world of the Bunnyverse. In the community known as Sugar Creek Burrows, bakers will have to meet a wide variety of villagers, learn their favorite colors, and bake delicious treats for them, according to Game Rant.
On top of these, players will be able to go birdwatching, collect rare mushrooms, and catch robots that are running amok and causing chaos. The game features a more cartoony art style compared to Bunhouse and Reky Studio said that they would support it for a long time.

With the new endeavor, Gauthier recounted Bunhouse's Kickstarter and how launching the campaign for the first bunny-themed game. There are now hundreds of fans on Cinnabunny's Kickstarter page who are monitoring support for the new game.
Kickstarter games usually come with a lot of risk as support from players is not guaranteed and some developers could find it difficult to accommodate feedback. However, some of the biggest success stories in indie gaming have gone through the funding platform, such as Undertale and Hollow Knight. Another title that found support through Kickstarter was Sea of Stars last year.
A Cozy Bunnyverse Baking Game
Ahead of Cinnabunny's Kickstart, Reky Studio provided a lot of information regarding the new game in the Bunnyverse. The game takes place at a time after a nasty drought forced the bunnies to find a new place for the family to live in, which was Sugar Creek Burrows, said Kohaku Media.
The new title drew on other games in the genre, including Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, to provide a cozy and relaxing gameplay experience. It can be played either solo or with one other player. During their adventure, players will have to build up their own bakery within the rabbit-filled village.
On top of baking, players will also have to become the interior decorator to maximize the coziness of their home bakery. There are also a variety of local ecosystems out in the world that can be observed and studied.
When it comes to interacting with other villages, players can unlock new dialogue as their relationship progresses. They can also gift NPCs with baked goods to discover their taste preferences and figure out what is better to give them, according to Kickstarter.
