Diablo Immortal 2024 Roadmap
With new enemies comes a class that is new to the Diablo universe that would help players overcome hellish challenges. They will be able to reap rewards from the game's second-year celebration and go on a series of main quests in order to confront the Lord of Terror himself, Diablo.
The Age of Unmaking is a series of challenge and gameplay-centric activities that reward players with powerful Eternal Equipment. This is expected to bring new life into the title's endgame as it unfolds throughout the year, according to Blizzard.
The updates will add Terror Rifts into the world of Diablo Immortal, which are spiked gateways that are used by the Lord of Terror's forces to launch their assault. Players will have to venture into these hellish planes of reality to stop the march of the invaders.

These rifts will be active every day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. server time. During each time frame, there will be three zones that will be invaded at random with one Terror Rift appearing in a zone every 30 minutes. Zones that have active Terror Rift portals are shown on the World Map.
Inside the rifts, players can collect Stygian Fragments from slain enemies and after finding 200 of these, a Stygian Spire will show up. Sacrificing a specific number of fragments to these structures will start a one-on-one fight with a mighty enemy. Defeating these creatures will spawn a reward chest.
A Variety of Hellish Updates
On top of the reward chest, the boss will also drop Terror Essence, which allows players to take on the Oblivion Pillars. These can be found near where the Terror Rifts spawn on Inferno Difficult I and higher, said MMORPG.
Inside of these are waves of powerful monsters that give players a chance to acquire Eternal Equipment and many other loot. The new item type is the rarest and strongest that can be found within Diablo Immortal. Another way to roll for these is using Terror Essence to combine four normal Bounties into one Hellslayer Bounty and complete it.
All of these will be featured in the first quarter of the quarterly road map and also include the Deckard Cain elite quest. The roadmap showed that from April to June, the focus is on new and renewal, including a new Paragon system, new equipment system, new Helliquary Bosses, as well as new game modes.
Executive producer Peiwen Yao said that they were excited to bring the amount of content that they brought to players as well as the corresponding level of engagement. Lead content designer Scott Burgess talked about the new items being added to the game, saying that they want players to have a variety of options in living out their unique class fantasies in Diablo Immortal, according to PCGamesN.
